How you can help
We do not accept that Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases are a normal part of aging. Despite the increasing number of patients with these diseases, we believe neurodegenerative diseases can be treated and, ultimately, prevented. With your support, the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center will team up with other leading scientists to accelerate the development of treatment and prevention.
The Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center was launched in 2001 with a major, anonymous seed grant from a truly visionary philanthropy. This gift facilitated the establishment of our core infrastructure and initial research initiatives.
More recently, much of our funding has been provided by charitable entities and individuals who share our passion and approach to cure neurodegenerative diseases. Federal grants by the National Institutes of Health also have provided welcome support for several specific initiatives.
A gift to the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center may take several forms:
Outright gift
A donation in the form of credit card, check, securities, or other assets.
For credit card donations, please visit Harvard University's Online Giving Form. Under the Gift Details section, select Harvard Medical School from the first drop down menu. Select Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center from the second drop down menu. You may enter "Additional Information" in the space provided at the bottom of the gift detail section (i.e., if you would like to dedicate the donation to the memory of a loved one or restrict use of your gift for a particular disease or purpose).
For donations by check, please make the check payable to "Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center" and deliver to:
