We carefully select new biological targets emerging from the academic research community and launch them as drug discovery screening programs. When promising compounds emerge, we move these hits into our medicinal chemistry program. Our medicinal chemists use these hits as a starting point in a process designed to generate more 'drug-like' compounds.
