By working with us, a collaborator can quickly virtualize R&D without the major initial investment usually associated with start-up companies. The NeuroDiscovery Center provides rapid entry and access to novel drug candidates and biologics by bringing the following assets to the table:
- milestone-driven drug discovery plans
- articulated financials and budgets
- innovative lead-stage product candidates
- broad intellectual property portfolio
- seasoned entrepreneurial scientific team
- well-defined business model
In consultation with our collaborators, we will pursue the earliest possible patent filing date and, at the appropriate time, we will consolidate all of our provisional applications from the NeuroDiscovery community into a non-provisional patent application for the broadest patent position. Such a strategy provides the most relevant chemical, biological and product claims during the long product development and clinical trials process. Our open IP strategy enhances the NeuroDiscovery value chain and complements the commercial assets of industry.
